THE- 11 Highflow exhaust manifold

Our THE-11 Highflow exhaust manifold is investment cast from heat resistant 1.4848 stainless steel. The holders for the wastegate and the retaining brackets for the wastegate linkage are also made of stainless steel using the investment casting process. During development, 3D scanning and 3D measurement were used to create the basis for the design with CAD and CFD. With the aid of bionic design, a large number of optimization steps were carried out up to the final design. In the final design, special care was taken to achieve the highest possible throughput without significant degradation of response. In our manifold, a correspondingly larger wastegate channel and flap was installed to be able to handle the higher power/charge pressure.

Advantages over the OEM part:

• More throughput through flow-optimized design
• All 5 cylinders have the same flow rate up to the collector
• Due to the larger wastegate channel & flap is an optimal boost pressure control given
• Due to the larger 11 volute, optimum flow is ensured even with very large exhaust wheels/turbines
• Designated area for exhaust gas temperature sensor (EGT)

Key information:

• Material: stainless steel 1.4848 (up to 1100 °C)
• Investment casting for uniform wall thickness and surface quality
• Manifold is delivered with standard machining for OEM DAZA exhaust wheel - machining for upgrade turbocharger (TTE855) on request

Additional information:

• We recommend using the original Audi bolts and nuts for assembly
• When used in the RS3 8P / TTRS 8J / RS3 8V.1 (before facelift), the set includes a Turbosmart overpressure can - additionally required mounting material can be found under RS3 8P / TTRS 8J Teile in Verbindung mit DAZA-Turbolader
• In conjunction with our manifold can be either the OEM fresh air pipe or our THE- RS3 8V/8Y / TTRS 8S 114mm Highflow turboinlet (under options) can be installed
• Complete turbocharger (TTE855) with our manifold on request
• Individual adjustment of the engine control unit (ECU) is necessary
