THE-RS3 8P / TTRS 8J adapter plate for oil filter housing is a machined adapter flange that allows the use of an additional oil cooler.
Highly performance-optimized vehicles often experience excessive oil temperatures, which in the worst case can lead to engine damage. To keep the oil temperature in an optimal range, it is recommended to install an oil cooler. At 80 degrees Celsius the thermostat is starting to regulate and short-circuiting the oil flow through the retrofitted oil cooler.

The adapter plate is compatible with RS3 8P and TTRS 8J models.

Additional information:

• When using the adapter plate, the original heat exchanger must be removed
• 80 degree Celsius thermostat
• An M18 x 1.5 thread is provided for the oil lines
