Product information:
From the factory, this check valve was only installed in the S4 B5 before facelift and not in the RS4 B5. In the RS4 B5 and S4 B5 Facelift this was replaced by a suction jet pump elaborately. The space-saving design allows easier installation of the oil catch can kit.
Advantage over the OEM part:
- Due to the direct connections at the intake manifold, several hoses and connection points are eliminated, which can very often lead to leaks.
Additional information:
- The installation on vehicles that have a suction jet pump installed as standard is not permitted in public road traffic according to StVO.
- Our vacuum check valve set can only be used on intake manifolds that have a pipe connection, such as RS4, S4 and our THE- HF intake manifold. There are intake manifolds where a push in system is originally installed, such as the last models of the Audi A6. With these a Plug&Play assembly of our check valve set and our oil separator is not possible!
Sealing cap:
- On various models (depending on the intake manifold), an 8mm connection on the intake manifold remains free after mounting our check valve. If this is no longer needed, e.g. for boost pressure display, it can be properly closed with our 8mm cap including hose clamp. This is selectable under "Options".
